Fraud exists in every commercial sphere, and the Forex market is no exception. Sleazy brokers continue to deceive unsuspecting traders even in 2022, often fabricating false information on well-crafted websites.

Some scam brokers may even hold regulation licenses, making it difficult for traders to distinguish fact from fiction. Is InvestFW one of them? Read this honest InvestFW review before committing your hard-earned money.

InvestFW Review: Who Is InvestFW?

InvestFW is an offshore broker claiming to have what it takes to give you an unforgettable trading experience.

It features a smooth platform and boasts of having excellent trading tools, resources, opportunities, and support.

investFW claims to trade in over 200 assets, with CFDs on forex pairs, indices, cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, and metals.

An Honest Look at InvestFW

The InvestFW brand is owned and operated by Itrade Global (CY) Ltd. The same company owns two other entities – TradedWell and TradeFW.

Its main office is in Cyprus, with no physical presence in the UK, Italy, or Germany.

Is InvestFW Regulated?

InvestFW is an Itrade Global (CY) Ltd branch regulated and authorized by CySEC.

Is InvestFW regulated by CySEC?

InvestFW is licensed under a different company that has changed its names and domains a few times, which raises a few questions.

It also claims to be authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). However, a quick check at the FCA website doesn’t show InvestFW.

Instead, only Itrade Global (CY) Ltd is listed with temporary permission of an overseas firm. It’s prohibited from marketing and is required not to conduct regulated activities with UK clients.

InvestFW Trading Conditions

You can find four account types on InvestFW: standard, silver, gold, and platinum. Registering an account is free, but you must make a deposit to start trading.

Before proceeding, you can open a virtual account and check the market conditions and broker’s offers to make an educated decision.

You can also trade through dedicated mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. InvestFW provides links for downloading and setting up the apps.

All accounts at InvestFW provide a maximum leverage of 1:30. The spreads differ from 2.9 pips to 1 pip as you move across the account tiers from standard to platinum.

InvestFW is mysterious about the initial deposit, which is uncommon for regulated brokers. There is also no difference between the account types except for pips and minimum contract size.

What Are The InvestFW Scam Signals?

At first sight, InvestFW looks like an ideal, legitimate brokerage firm. However, don’t let the user-friendly interface, catchy promises, and sleek design fool you. You can end up in a world of hurt if you fall for first impressions in Forex trading.

Here are a few reasons you should be wary of trading with InvestFW.

1. InvestFW Country Restrictions

Despite claiming to be one of the world’s best trading platforms, InvestFW is restricted from operating in certain countries. Its website disclaims not targeting US, Canada, Iran, Israel, or Japan residents.

InvestFW has likely been prohibited from operating in these countries or can’t meet the strict regulations for protecting traders.

Despite claiming it can operate in the UK for a limited period, InvestFW isn’t registered with the FCA. Only its parent company has temporary permission, and it’s prohibited from conducting regulated activities or marketing to UK residents.

2. MetaTrader Absent at InvestFW

InvestFW only provides a web trader platform, so you can’t expect unique features like automated or social trading. Licensed, legitimate brokers use reputable terminals like Metatrader4 (MT4) or MT5.

InvestFW doesn't have MetaTrader

With MT4 or MT5, you get advanced features, improved functionality, community support, advisors, and encryption security. Your security is assured when trading, and your funds or data cannot be compromised.

Only scammers prefer web-based platforms because they’re cheap and easy to compromise.

3. High InvestFW New Account and Inactivity Fees

InvestFW charges “examination of application fees” to all new clients. It states that this is because of the company’s expenses and administrative effort when receiving and checking new applicants and first-time deposits.

High inactivity fees

You’ll also pay a fixed 55 EUR inactivity fee if there’s no trading activity in your account for 60 days. The fee is then imposed every calendar month, which can reach significant amounts in a few months.

Legitimate brokers only charge a small fee after six months of inactivity.

4. Long InvestFW Withdrawal Times

While legitimate brokers process millions of withdrawal requests daily and complete them in 24 hours, InvestFW withdrawals take five to seven days. It claims it does not influence the time it takes funds to reach your account and bears no responsibility for delays.

It also imposes a “dormancy fee” on all accounts before approving any requested withdrawal and is applied at the company’s discretion. This is highly irregular and likely to discourage traders from withdrawing.

5. Zero InvestFW Social Media Presence

In this day and age, it’s strange for a legitimate company to have no social media presence or any kind of marketing campaign. You’ll not find any social media handles on the InvestFW website.

It only limits itself to age-old access avenues like email, telephone, fax, or the online contact form.

No social media presence

Social media can help increase the legitimacy of a brokerage by making them accessible, trustworthy, and popular. InvestFW wants to operate in the shadows, making it easy for them to scam investors, rebrand, and disappear without a trace.

InvestFW Review Conclusion: Avoid This Regulated Scam!

investFW is a scam hidden behind its parent company’s CySEC license, a sleek website, and various trading assets.

While it promises to help you make the most out of your trades, you’re more likely to come out of InvestFW with a broken heart and empty pockets! Stay away from this broker to avoid losing your deposit and peace of mind.
